Of course, the first thing my girlfriend said when I went to take the picture "I can't take you anywhere." Carguyprobs?

Also, my dad bought red brake caliper paint for the BMW when he went to get swaybar links. Guess I'm going to have red calipers now!

For use on caliper, drum, and rotor . Rotor!? Who the hell paints their brake rotor!?

These Cherokee SRT8s are becoming quite popular now that has prices are falling. I saw two identical gunmetal grey ones in one parking lot a couple days ago. They're awesome trucks, so naturally I'm thrilled.

Why is this GC nearly *triple* the starting cost of a regular Cherokee? Also over double what a non-SRT GC starts at.

Don't worry; the GC SRT8 will drop in value quickly, like all big V8 SUV's and trucks do. It soon will be worth only $700.

And painting the rotors is ok because it wipes off with the first stop.

You can load up a GC Summit to $60,000. And the SRT starts at $64,xxx. I just figured this one had some toys on it.

Someone also does 0-60 in about a quarter the time of me, has an interior covered in leather, heated and cooled everything, a huge sunroof, and can get through damn near any weather condition.

And, above all else, isn't driving a GMC Safari missing paint and has gold stripes.

It looks like the whole thing was painted (except the front surface that mates with the wheel). It's just that the rotor surface, where the caliper rubs the pads against, wipes clean every time you hit the brakes, so therefore it will look like it was never painted.

And painted drums are stupid as fuck. Even worse is when they try to paint a caliper on it.

The difference is that drums work differently (drums' shoes are *inside* the drum, whereas disc pads are around the disc). Hence the difference in paint coverage.
